Hie all
We have been so busy since Saturday. Farai is conducting his first evangelistic crusade. It certainly is nothing like what we can expect from home in terms of the numbers that attend, but so far so good. We have some people that have been regularly attending every evening and that is encouraging. We usually leave home at about 5pm, and drive to Jackson which is about 45min away. We have been having vacation bible school from 6-7pm which the girls have immensly enjoyed. Then from 7:30-9pm, the crusade. We then leave about 10pm after everything is put away. Sometimes, the girls are so tired that they sleep as soon as we get into the car. When Rudo is tired, she expects everyone to be quiet so that she can sleep. Sekai and Ruvimbo, on the other hand will be singing, or fighting or just being silly. On the first day, Rudo said "you guys be quiet" Of course, the sisters ignored her. Consistently, she asked and then yelled for them to be quiet. Finally she pulled out the funniest one. "You guys, daddy is driving. Be quiet" That, coming from Rudo, sounded so funny. If you guys remember that image in Nebuchadnezzar's/Daniel's dream. (Used to give me nightmares when I was small, so I get where Rudo is coming from. I'd dream the thing was at the foot of my bed and i'd be frozen in fear for half the night) Anyway, on the first day Farai talked about the image and what it means and he had slides to go with his presentation. Later on, Rudo says to me, "Mummy, that man with the yellow head is so scary and I hate his blue and white feet (head was made of gold and the feet were of iron and clay and the iron looked kinda blue in the slide then it was stripped with the clay). She'll be so serious and so i have to take her seriously, but all that time, i'll just be wanting to crack up.
